Our ability to imagine defines our ability to see God's movements. For example, you could be praying for a $100 need. Your imagination limits you to believe that the only way God answers your prayer is by giving you $100 cash or check. God, who is sovereign, provides $100 of savings on a utility bill or $100 of extra work. What will you believe then? Probably, you will think God has not answered your prayer. But if you can imagine God wonderfully working in all things, then you will see God's answer and praise Him for the provision. Many times we miss God's answer because we are looking for hard evidence. God wants us to imagine Him in all things. Your faith builds as you see God move, and seeing God move takes your whole imagination. Today's encouraging word sets the tone for this idea, Ephesian 3:20, “Now to Him who is able to do infinitely more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.” Looking back on answered prayers can you see how God did things beyond what you could have imagined at the time? Imagine today what He wants to do for you and through you.
